Our planet Earth has 7 continents and 5 oceans.

The Seven Continents

  1. Asia — the largest continent
  2. Africa — home to deserts and savannas
  3. North America — includes the USA, Canada, and Mexico
  4. South America — home to the Amazon rainforest
  5. Antarctica — the coldest continent, covered in ice
  6. Europe — where we live! Includes the UK
  7. Australia — the smallest continent, also a country

The Five Oceans

  1. Pacific Ocean — the largest and deepest
  2. Atlantic Ocean — between Europe/Africa and the Americas
  3. Indian Ocean — between Africa, Asia, and Australia
  4. Southern Ocean — around Antarctica
  5. Arctic Ocean — around the North Pole
